The beauty category stoppe reporting revenue from 2020 onwards because Burberry chose to restructure its approach to the beauty segment by entering into a licensing agreement with Coty Inc. in 2017. This decision was aimed at leveraging Coty’s extensive experience in beauty to enhance Burberry’s brand presence in the cosmetics market. As a result, direct revenue figures for the beauty category are no longer reported from 2020 onwards.
